Wingless fairies

There's been some confusion in human circles over topic of fairys' wings. Before I go any further, let me make it clear that this post is about fairies, and has nothing to do with their male counterparts, faeron.
There are three species of 'fairies': The Faera (male and female; resemble humans closely), the Fairies (only female; resemble humans very closely) and the Fae (male and female; very nasty and sharp), which do not come into this discussion.
Fairies are wingless, and rely mainly on talking birds for air transport. They reside in the lands far across the sea, to the Very East, and are almost never seen in Vytra.
Faera are both male and female (faeron and fairy), and are common in Vytra and many lands nearby.

Somehow, rumors and tales of both kinds of creatures drifted into society, and now many people, especially on the Eastern Shores on both sides of the Riftwater Ocean, wonder weather 'fairies have wings or not.'
Below is a drawing of a fairy from a wood in the Very East.

  2. Most fairies have wings! If you live in a certain forest, though, you can find this species of wingless fairies.
